Iteration Burnup
Iteration progress is depicted through a Burnup graph which plots
Overall scope - This line explains the scope at any day on the sprint. On Day 1 of the sprint, it will be a straight line but as the sprint progresses, a scope addition or removal which show up on the line graph
Planned completion - This line explains how many issues will get closed by each day in the sprint. For this line to show up, while team is doing sprint planning they need to define dependencies and draw a rough sketch of the order in which the sprint backlog items will be picked up.
A custom date field needs to be created to mention the due date
To each issue a ‘due date’ needs to be assigned so that the graph plots the planned completion.
Completion till date - This line moves along with the current day. It depicts the progress of sprint in terms of total no. of issues completed on a particular day
Predicted completion - Refer to ‘Work Remaining’, this line depicts the day wise cumulative completion for the remaining days of the sprint.
Gap between actual completed and future prediction - Its a dotted line that highlights the gap between the current state and the prediction of the next day
