Project Data Collection (Processor Run)

PSknowHOW pulls the data from all connected tools for configuration specified for each project during project setup.

Auto Data Collection -

The data pull is done via cron jobs with a default setting of every 12 hours. the frequency can be updated in application properties file, its recommneded not to set it up less than 2-3 hours depending upon volume of projects.

On Demand Data Collection -

PSknowHOW also allows to execute the processor on demand via admin section. please follow below steps to manually execute the desired data collection processor…

Every tool supported by PSknowHOW has a dedicated processor available that allows user to run it and fetch latest available data in KPI’s.
To check the info about last processor run date and time and status of execution.
User can delete the last fetched data from all KPI’s of the respective tool by simply clicking on ‘Delete' icon next to Run Now
by default, the delete icon shall be disabled and it should be auto enabled with first processor run.

Step to Execute The Processor -

Navigate to setting section from breamcrum menu in top right corner.

Select your project from project list drop down

Nagivate to desired processor

Click “Run Now” button.

Once execution complete the page will show the status.

In case processor run is successful then user will get 'Success' status.

In case processor run is not successful then user will get 'Failure' status.

Note -

To find the reason for failure, please take a look at the generated logs at the server.
The Jira processor takes some time to pull the data, so please allow few minutes for processor to complete before veryfying the data.
