Processor Execution

PSknowHOW processors can be accessed from Settings → Misc Settings.

Processors act as a bridge between tools and KPI’s. All the data available in tools is transferred over to KPI by running respective processor tool.

Advantage Of Processors Execution Utility in PSknowHOW

  • Every tool supported by PSknowHOW has a dedicated processor available that allows user to run it and fetch latest available data in KPI’s.

  • To make sure KPI’s are fetching most updated information in tool.

  • To check the info about last processor run date and time.

  • To check if the following processor run was successful or not.

    • In case processor run is successful then user will get 'Success' status.

    • In case processor run is not successful then user will get 'Failure' status.

    • If user encounters KPI failure, then he can reattempt the processor run or can check logs to identify the cause of failure.

  • User can delete the last fetched data from all KPI’s of the respective tool by simply clicking on ‘Delete' icon beside Run Now. This will make KPI’s showing 'No Data Available'.

Note: Based on network latency, tool server availability and amount of data, the processor run time may differ from tool by tool and project by project. Ex Jira processor tends to take more time in success than Sonar processor since volume of data in Jira is more.

Delete Processor Data

User can delete any tool specific KPI data by simply click on Delete icon for each individual processor. This functionality allows user to clear KPI’s and resetting it with freshly updated tool data post re-running processor.

To Delete tool data

  1. Go to Settings → Misc Settings.

  2. Select the project from project dropdown and click delete icon for the tool.

KPI After Jira Processor Data Deletion

Please note by default, the delete icon shall be disabled and it should be auto enabled with first processor run.

Points to Note

  • Deleting processor data will also erase timestamp and previous success/failure message.
